We need volunteers for this event. We will be having a race volunteer meeting on May 3 at 6pm in the basement of the First Exchange Building off of 250. In the meeting we will be going over the race and assigning volunteer positions. Please let me know if you plan to help out. We are in need of around 30 more volunteers.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization. All who desire to be a part of this work are welcome, regardless of religious preference or background. We build with people in need regardless of race or religion. We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds. Building on Faith Week is a celebration of our relationship with the faith community. During this week, typically the second full week in September, we have special events like potluck dinners, and extend the build time to allow more people to volunteer on the construction site.  We receive many great donations that simply cannot be used in our houses for one reason or another. For that reason many Habitats have garage sales or have opened resale stores to be able to accept these donations and sell them to raise money to build houses. We can accept donations of gently used or new furniture, small electronics, surplus building supplies, appliances, books, or other household items to sell at our annual garage sale.
