Sam Starsick generously
donated this lot on Palatine Ave. This three
bedroom 1 bathroom house is being built for our
partner family Crystal Postlethwait and her
daughter Olivia. The house actually faces the
alleyway between Potomac and Palatine Ave, so
the address may change to Arch St (the alley).
You can help by signing up
to volunteer. |

- Hello Volunteers! This weeks job-site hours and tentative work
plans: The site will be open Thursday,
May 3rd from 12-8, Friday,
May 4th from 9-4, and Saturday,
May 5th from 9-3. The work plan for this week is to build the front stairs plus build form boxes for these items.
Also some odds and ends things in the house, i.e. finish painting and trim work, hopefully install the appliances.
We do ask that anyone wishing to volunteer
EMAIL or call with a time or day(s) you would like to help out. Also you need to have a waiver filled out and on file.
I also ask that everyone who volunteers please make sure you wear proper
clothing; no open toed shoes, preferably long pants.
Thank you everyone for your constant help and support.
Without all of you we couldn't do what we do. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Michael Kremer, Construction Manager.
If you need directions check the MAP or DIRECTIONS
or if you need a waiver
(needs to be filled out yearly for all
volunteers),
You can get one HERE.
Thank you for your commitment to Marion County Habitat!

Please have a look at our
volunteer calendar! We would love you to
help out on the worksite. We do pre-schedule
groups, and generally the worksite is
comfortable with around 10 people. You are
welcome to volunteer on any day the worksite is
open, but please be aware that on scheduled days
the worksite may get crowded and increase the
amount of down time for volunteers. If this
happens please be patient with us and know that
we truly appreciate each and every volunteer and
their time!
Please contact us by EMAIL or call (304)
363-4244 if you have any questions about
volunteering or would like to schedule a group. |
